When you’re running a full-power rifle, you need a magazine pouch that can keep up. The Burro Rifle Magazine Pouch — Large is Snake Eater Tactical’s purpose-built solution for 7.62×51 (.308 Winchester) and similarly sized magazines. It’s the same battle-proven Burro design, scaled up by a half-inch to properly fit the wider magazines used in designated marksman and battle rifle platforms.

Same Proven Construction, Scaled Up

Curved Kydex inserts inside heavy-duty 5″ elastic give you the structure needed for positive one-handed re-indexing while keeping the pouch flexible enough to work across multiple .308 magazine profiles. When the magazine is out, the pouch collapses relatively flat — keeping your profile low and your kit from hanging up.

Mounting Options

The rear features 3 rows of PALS webbing and ships with Onewrap loops for direct belt attachment. MALICE Clips (sold separately) allow mounting to any PALS/MOLLE platform or belt up to 2″. Also compatible with the G-Code and similar belt adapters.

The Burro Series and the War Belt System
