Description
The Burro Subgun Magazine Pouch fills the gap between the Pistol Burro and the Rifle Burro. Built on the same Kydex-reinforced elastic platform as the Pistol Burro, the Subgun adds an inch of length to properly accommodate the longer magazines used in submachine guns and personal defense weapons.
Compatible Platforms
- MP5 (all variants)
- MP7 / MP7A1
- Colt SMG / AR-pattern 9mm
- CZ Scorpion EVO
- Other PDW and SMG magazine formats of similar dimensions
Additional Uses
The Subgun Burro also works well as a carrier for expandable batons (ASP and similar), giving law enforcement and security professionals a low-profile option for a piece of kit that rarely has a dedicated pouch designed well for it.
Mounting Options
Ships with Onewrap loops for direct belt attachment. MALICE Clips (sold separately) allow mounting to any PALS/MOLLE platform or belt up to 2″. Collapses flat when empty.
The Burro Series and the War Belt System
The Burro Series is purpose-built for integration into a modern war belt or battle belt setup. Each Burro pouch ships with Velcro Onewrap loops for immediate belt attachment, and with MALICE Clips (sold separately) mounts securely to any PALS/MOLLE platform — whether that’s a dedicated war belt, a duty belt with a MOLLE sleeve, a chest rig, or a plate carrier. The elastic construction and low-profile collapsed footprint mean Burro pouches don’t add unnecessary bulk to a belt that’s already carrying a holster, dump pouch, and IFAK. Because every pouch in the Burro Series shares the same mounting hardware and visual profile, operators and officers can build a fully matched belt system across magazine, medical, and duty gear without mixing pouch families. For those running a war belt as a standalone load-bearing system or paired with a plate carrier in a chest-and-belt setup, the Burro Series covers every common pouch position — rifle mags, pistol mags, tourniquet, and duty tools — in a single coherent product line made in the USA.
Available in Black, Coyote Brown, Multicam, and Ranger Green. Part of the Burro Series by Snake Eater Tactical.
